Our History
Located in Helsinki’s harbour district, Luotsikatu 4 is a building with a rich history of notable artists, such as Tove Jansson and Hugo Simberg, who have lived and worked here. Historically used as wood storage, an architect’s office and art studio, Tuukka Fält and Yasara took over the space and created ‘The Mess HKI’ Gallery in 2024.
